How it all started…
In 2024, an autistic, ex-evangelical, ex-catholic witch was looking for a way to connect more deeply with their deities in meditation. The catholic rosary had always been a comfort, even after leaving the church. In keeping with the traditional style of a rosary, they changed the number of beads per set to reflect Hecate’s triple-goddess aspect, and replaced the cross pendant with a key. After posting photos in a Facebook group for witches, requests started flooding in for custom orders, and Kore Devotions was born.
Before opening an online store, our rosaries were sold at a local metaphysical shop. We needed some way of connecting with our customers, so Cindy started a YouTube channel. The intention was to explain the designs and uses of the rosaries. It eventually morphed into an eclectic community of people all searching for the same things… meaning, healing and empowerment.
How it’s going…
This community continues to surprise every day. We never imagined that a very personal devotion would inspire and challenge so many. We now have multiple channels for video content, and a thriving online storefront. We can be found on Bluesky social as well.
This site is meant to bring all the aspects of this brand and community together in one place. This is another step in our quest toward more accessibility in witchcraft spaces.
